Three IEBC clerks charged with irregularly transferring voters have been released on Sh 300, 000 bond to allow police complete investigation.Mandera Resident Magistrate Dancun Mtai ruled that the three, Hassan  Hussein Issack, Hafsa Hussein Hassan and Habiba Adan Kerrow,  be reporting to the Directorate of Criminal Investigations offices in Mandera daily for 21 days between 9am and 1pm.The Magistrate further prohibited the three from travelling outside Mandera County without the court’s permission.On Tuesday, detectives moved to court seeking a 21 day custodial order to allow completion of investigations. The respondents, according to Samuel Langat, a DCI officer, were arrested on June 12 at Rhamu town in Mandera North constituency following directives from IEBC chief officer.The officer indicated that the suspects, while working as IEBC clerks, filled transfer forms… Next »
