At the beginning of his testimony before the Senate Intelligence Committee today, Attorney General Jeff Sessions delivered a statement where he said that the suggestion he was involved in any collusion with Russia was an “appalling and detestable lie.” On top of that, Sessions also claimed that during his confirmation hearing, he answered Sen. Al Franken’s “rambling question” about meetings with Russian officials honestly. Well, following today’s hearing, Franken responded to Sessions calling him out during his testimony.
